Sharrel is a Chennai-based techno DJ and selector whose sound sits between hypnotic, minimal and melodic techno, with influences extending into progressive, organic and Afro electronic music. Her approach to DJing is deeply rooted in music discovery and storytelling building sets that evolve gradually through groove, atmosphere and emotion. For Sharrel, a good set doesn’t end when the music stops. It’s the track someone hums on their way home, the song they Shazam, or the artist they spend the next few weeks discovering. With a growing presence across India and performances in different cities and international settings, she continues to develop a sound that is immersive, intentional and distinctly her own. I actually like this more for an Ibiza agency because it tells them who you are without sounding like you’re trying too hard.
