Licensing Terms

Understand the licence types available for music purchased or distributed through Seven Stars.

Streaming Licence

Grants listeners the right to stream content on the platform. No download, reproduction or redistribution rights included.

Non-Exclusive Beat Licence

Buyers may use the beat in their recordings but the producer retains the right to sell to other artists. Typically limited to 10,000 streams or 1,000 sales.

Exclusive Beat Licence

Buyer receives sole rights to use the beat commercially. Producer may no longer sell to others once exclusive licence is sold.

Sync Licence

Covers use of a track in video content, adverts or film. Must be negotiated directly with the rights holder. Contact us for assistance.

General Licensing Rules

  • All licences are granted at time of purchase and are non-transferable.
  • You must credit the original producer/artist as specified in the licence file.
  • Licences do not transfer ownership of the master recording or underlying composition.
  • Unauthorised commercial use of platform content outside licence scope constitutes infringement and may result in a DMCA claim.
  • Seven Stars is not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers of beat licences — all transactions are between the parties directly.
